The proposed acquisition of LS Retail by Aptos follows the announcement of the acquisition by affiliates of Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division, which was completed last year. The new strategic ownership change paves the way for accelerated investment in product innovation and continued focus on global market expansion. Until the transaction closes, which is expected in February 2021, LS Retail will operate as a standalone business unit within Aptos.
