BSI recommends: Replace Kaspersky anti-virus products

The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) warns against the anti-virus products of the Russian manufacturer Kaspersky. There is a "considerable risk of a successful IT attack" from the Russian side, according to the BSI. The Russian IT manufacturer could also be forced to attack systems against its will or even become a victim of a cyber attack itself without its knowledge. Antivirus software usually has far-reaching system authorisations on users' computers. Therefore, great trust in the reliability of the software used is extremely important.

The BSI therefore strongly recommends the use of alternative solutions. As a Gold Partner of the cyber defence experts of the German manufacturer G-DATA, we can offer you absolutely mature and tested virus protection software tailored to your needs. In independent tests, the solutions from G DATA do not allow themselves any weaknesses. Another big advantage is G DATA's German location, which allows support requests within Germany or the same time zone to be processed as quickly as possible, saving you important time in the event of an attack.

We will be happy to advise you on further protection and security measures for your IT landscape. Contact our specialists now.
