Common Data Service, the advanced and secure data service of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, has been renamed Microsoft Dataverse.
Thanks to its low code requirements, the data platform is rapidly changing the way applications are developed, enabling companies to create their own applications quickly and easily and to innovate their business processes. The new name is intended to reflect the performance and worldwide use of Dataverse in particular.
Dataverse is now also generally available for the popular collaboration tool Teams, together with a range of embedded tools from the Microsoft Power Platform, which make it easy for customers to create low-code applications, automate processes and use chat bots without leaving teams.
