DHL shipping to Switzerland/Third Countries - Changes for goods carrying shipments

The Universal Postal Union (UPU) has decided on changes for goods-bearing items. These changes affect DHL Paket International with shipments to third countries, customs regions and to EU exemption areas. In future, the following changes must be taken into account and the dispatch preparation must be adjusted accordingly.

In detail - the customs declaration (CN23) has been updated and new fields added. The obligation to use the parcel card (CP71) is thus no longer required. In addition, an obligation to provide information on shipping costs has been defined.

Missing, incomplete or faulty data records may lead to delays in transit time or returns of the corresponding parcels with costs from 2021 onwards.
