The Regional Discovery Service is a service provided by Microsoft through which external components could gain access to the Dynamics 365 system. This will be replaced by a global discovery service.
Microsoft now announces that the Regional Discovery Service will be discontinued on 01.03.2021. Until then, support, security and important updates will still be provided, but from 02.03.2021 the service will no longer be available. In concrete terms, this means that customers will have to switch to using the global OData V4 Discovery Service before 01.03.2021.
