At Microsoft Inspire, it was announced that Dynamics 365 Customer Insights and Dynamics 365 Marketing will be merged into one AI-driven solution called Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
This solution offers two apps: Customer Insights-Data and Customer Insights-Journeys.
The Customer Insights-Data app enables the creation of a unified 360-degree customer profile in real time.
The Customer Insights-Journeys app allows for the creation of highly personalized experiences based on this comprehensive understanding.
With these two apps, companies have the flexibility to decide whether to start with data-driven or Journeys-driven approaches and save money by saving 40 percent on the base license compared to previous packages.
Starting in August 2023, new customer environments will include only real-time marketing and event management. Existing customers will be able to add outbound marketing as needed via a self-service interface. Outbound marketing will continue to be supported, but without new enhancements.
When you move to real-time marketing, you'll enjoy benefits like using artificial intelligence (AI) to do more with less. The Copilot feature allows you to target the right audience by describing segments with everyday terms without learning the data model or creating queries. Content ideas can be used to create engaging email content in seconds by specifying key points or choosing an appropriate tone of voice. Images can also be easily selected from a library to complement the message. Future features will offer the ability to rewrite existing content more compellingly, create customer journeys, set quiet periods, and design emails and forms based on website design. Seamless integration of Customer Insights data will make it possible to optimize every interaction.
