The current release KatarGo 19.2 is based on the latest version of the ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics 365 Buisness Central. Many functions have been further improved and new features have been added, some of which we would like to present to you here.
Shipping processing (shipping orders)
Shipping processing supports the processing of goods issue at a shipping processing location on the basis of shipping orders in order to pack the items of an order into packages and ship them with the help of a scanner. For the processing of single item orders, there is a separate Shipping Processing EPOS (Shipping Orders) screen.
Complaint recording - photo recording via webcam
Photos can be taken via the webcam of the end device used for the complaint tickets that are created within the scope of complaint recording. The photos are assigned to the complaint ticket as attachments.
Picking per area and route-optimised trolley distribution
The functionality of outgoing goods series creation has been expanded to the extent that a sorting method can be set up as a default. On the basis of the sorted picking lines, the optimised logistics trolley distribution is now carried out. This means that the individual picks per logistics trolley are created in their entirety according to the sorting method.
Goods issue picking details
A new overview "Goods Issue Picking Details" is now available for the quick identification of problems with the article availabilities in the PDC picking. Here, the user can call up information on the current goods issues and identify and quickly rectify any error situations that may have occurred.
For the changes in the area of Intrastat reporting with validity from January 2022, Microsoft has provided the corresponding adjustments within the scope of earlier and the current December update. In addition, changes have been made in KatarGo in the area of default values according to "partner type" - so that one can define different defaults for the type of business for companies and private individuals.
Single-level article variants
The article variant type has been extended by a new option "Single-level"; single-level article variants provide for a simple variant concept. Variant codes can be freely defined.
The GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) in the article master has been extended in KatarGo by functions and check mechanisms.
KatarGo for Business Central 2021 Wave 2
The basis of the release is CU2. As a package, the release is provided via PackageID KatarGo19 with version 1.0.385. From now on, KatarGo will primarily be further developed for this Business Central version only.
KatarGo for Business Central 2021 Wave 1
The basis of the release is CU8. The release is provided as a package via PackageID KatarGo18 with version 1.0.386. From now on, only hotfixes and extensibility changes will be provided for this version; earlier CUs are no longer supported. An update to a new CU will only be made in urgent cases.
KatarGo for Business Central 2020 Wave 2
The basis of the release is CU13. As a package, the release is provided via PackageID KatarGo17 with version 1.0.391. As before, only hotfixes and extensibility changes will be provided for this version; earlier CU versions will no longer be supported. An update to a new CU will only be carried out in urgent cases.
With the release of Business Central 2021 Wave 2, Microsoft has removed version 2020 Wave 1 (Business Central 16) from mainstream support. This is also accompanied by the associated version of KatarGo.
