Since 01.01.2025, the Cash Register Security Ordinance stipulates that all electronic cash register systems with technical security equipment (TSE) must be reported to the tax office.
This applies to both existing and new systems, changes and deregistrations. The deadline for subsequent notification of systems already in use ends on July 31, 2025, after which each notification is mandatory within one month.
The data is transmitted via My ELSTER or suitable software using the ERiC interface.
Our customers who use the EFR service from efsta and the "Fiscalization" app from FS Soft can simplify the reporting process: efsta provides the necessary XML files, which can be imported directly into the ELSTER portal.
