Starting October 1, 2025, Microsoft will implement two key changes for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV:
1. Adjustment of the Enhancement Plan
The rate for the Enhancement Plan will increase from the current 19% to 20%. This mandatory adjustment applies to all active Enhancement Plans with a renewal date after October 1, 2025.
2. Increase in On-Premises Pricing
At the same time, prices for on-premises products and subscriptions will rise by approximately 10–11% compared to current conditions. This affects both traditional perpetual licenses and on-premises subscription models.
For existing customers with an active Enhancement Plan, nothing else changes in terms of continuing to use on-premises licenses. You can still extend your existing license.
Recommendation
For new customers, we recommend starting directly with Dynamics 365 Business Central Cloud. Existing NAV/Business Central on-premises customers can benefit from Microsoft’s “Bridge to the Cloud 2” promotion, which offers a cost-optimized transition to the cloud.
