Microsoft "Bridge to the Cloud" Promotion

For 1 September 2021, Microsoft has announced the new "Bridge to the Cloud" promotion via the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programme. Existing Dynamics customers who, for example, have a licence for Dynamics 365 Business Central On-Premises or Dynamics NAV and are planning to switch to the cloud, can then renew their Enhancement Plan (EP) on a monthly basis via the CSP programme and receive Business Central Online licences at 60% less.

The on-premises licence can then be used in parallel withBusiness Central Online for the entire promotional period. Customers continue to benefit from the enhancement advantages of their on-premises licence.

The "Bridge to the Cloud" offer is aimed at customers who want to migrate to the cloud by the end of the promotional period. At the end of the offer period, enrolled customers will transition fully to CSP licensing - the Microsoft Enhancement Plan will be terminated.

Prerequisites:

• Active Microsoft Enhancement Plan on the on-premises licence
• Application is possible at any time until 31 December 2022
• The annual amount of the purchased Microsoft Business Central online licences (users) must be higher than the amount of the previous Enhancement Plan
• The customer must have confirmed a written offer from the servicing Dynamics partner

Advantages

• The customer only pays the CSP fees
• For the period of 12 months + max. further 36 months, a discount of 60 % on the CSP fee is granted
• Dual-use authorisation: The online licence can also be used on-premises
• In addition to the new online licence, the existing on-premises licence can also continue to be used
