Microsoft increases Dataverse storage – more capacity at no extra cost

Microsoft has significantly increased the standard capacities for Dataverse in the current licensing guidelines (December 2025). For you, this means more storage space for data and files, fewer additional costs, and greater flexibility.

New standard capacities according to the current Microsoft Licensing Guide:

  • Dynamics 365 (Customer Service, Sales, Field Service, Contact Center):
    • Dataverse-Datenbank: 30 GB (previously 10 GB)
    • File storage: 40 GB (previously 20 GB)
  • Customer Insights:
    • Dataverse-database: 45 GB (previously 25 GB)
    • File storage: 60 GB (previously 40 GB)
  • Power Platform:
    • Power Apps Premium: 20 GB (previously 10 GB)
    • Power Apps per App: 15 GB (previously 5 GB)
    • Power Automate Premium: 20 GB (previously 10 GB)
    • Power Pages: 15 GB (previously 5 GB)

Your advantage:

  • More storage at no extra cost
  • Less need for paid add-ons
  • Optimized use of your Microsoft solutions

Note: Microsoft is rolling out the new storage values gradually. Some clients are already seeing the higher capacities, while others will follow in the coming weeks.
