In the December 2022 update of Microsoft's Power BI business intelligence solution, new features will be made available. We would like to present some selected ones here.
Slicer formatting moved to the format area
To change the type of a data slice, e.g. from relative date to a slider, these settings were previously only available in the visual header and only when hovering. Also, to change a slicer to "horizontal," users first had to select "List" from the visual header to display the option in the Format pane, and then use the Format pane to change the alignment.
Now, these settings share a location in the format area, making it easier to find slicer types and switch between them consistently:
Another added benefit of this change is that the new mobile formatting options can now access this setting as well.
Track your metrics in the Windows app
Now you can monitor your Power BI metrics and scorecards, and even check progress directly from the Windows app.
