Microsoft Teams is the central place for teamwork in Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365). Teams bundles chats, meetings, file sharing and business applications into a common workspace, providing all the tools necessary for remote teams to work. TeamViewer is a remote access, remote control and remote maintenance solution that allows remote control and use of computers or mobile devices anywhere in the world.
Now it is also possible to integrate TeamViewer as an app into teams. After the download, the registration in the TeamViewer account takes place and invitations can be sent to colleagues for remote control or AR sessions via the TeamViewer app in individual or group conversations.
A special feature is the integration of Augmented Realitiy, short AR. With TeamViewer Pilot, users can establish a connection between a PC with Microsoft Teams and a mobile device or between two smartphones and show the situation on site to the meeting participants with a shared view through the smartphone camera. With markings and freehand drawings, both participants can mark details and guide through the individual work steps. It is also possible to share files, insert texts and talk to each other.
