Modern companies process more and more large amounts of data. In order to provide a reliable overview, the online environment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central also offers suitable functions - unstructured data can be provided with notes and links.
These internal notes and links are attached directly to the business data and displayed in an info box next to it. In the "Attachments" tab contained there, all notes, links and document attachments can be found and displayed as required. The corresponding infobox area can be minimized or maximized with the key combination "Alt+F2".
With "Alt+O" notes can be added anywhere on the screen, the most recent note is always displayed at the first position and thus remains in focus. To switch between attachments and notes, use the key combination "Alt-Shift+F2".
Hyperlinks to online contents of map and document pages are added via the "Links" area. If the status of the page changes (e.g. a current sales order becomes a booked customer invoice), links, notes and attachments will still remain and be pinned.
