New DocumentsCorePack Template Designer available as Office add-in

As a partner of mscrm-addons.com, we are pleased to present the new version of DocumentsCorePack Template Designer as an Office Add-In. The solution is currently in the BETA phase and is expected to be generally available in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The new Office add-in makes creating and editing document templates directly in Microsoft Word even easier and more flexible. It is provided centrally via the Office Add-In Store, without any local installation or maintenance required.

Thanks to cloud technology, the designer can be used across platforms, whether in Word Online, on Windows, or Mac.

Your advantages at a glance:

  • Quick deployment via the Office Store
  • No local installation or updates necessary
  • Compatible with Word Online, Windows, and Mac
  • Always up to date thanks to automatic updates
  • IT-friendly and compliant with Microsoft 365 security standards

Proven features such as data mapping from Dynamics 365, placeholder management, and conditional content remain unchanged.

Please note
The new add-in version is still under development and is not yet fully equivalent to the previous Template Designer in terms of functionality. In practice, errors or damaged templates may occur during updates or template conversions.

Our recommendation

  • Do not convert existing templates unless there is an urgent need to do so, or only do so after consulting with us.
  • Avoid using both designers for the same templates at the same time.
  • Wait to make the change until the final version is available and you have consulted with us.

We would be happy to advise you individually on the new solution and assist you with evaluation or a possible trial run.
