Power Apps is a service for developing and using custom business applications/apps that connect to your data and can be used on both the web and mobile devices. It significantly minimises the time and cost normally associated with developing custom software.
Microsoft is now announcing pricing and licensing updates for Power Apps. To make the platform more accessible, whether customers start with a small number of users or deploy across the enterprise, the price of Power Apps will be reduced per user and per app plans. In addition, Power Apps per app plan entitlements will be simplified.
The following licensing changes for Power Apps will come into effect on 01.10.2021:
In addition, Microsoft is simplifying permissions for the Pro App plan. The Pro App plan can now run one app instead of two previously. This increases flexibility for users who want to license only one app for their users.
In the meantime, until 01.10.2021, a time-limited promotion will be extended. From 01.07.-30.09.2021, eligible customers can benefit from reduced prices and choose from these promotional offers: Power Apps per User and per App plans are currently available for $12 per user/month (minimum licence quantity 5,000 licences) and $3 per user/app/month (minimum purchase of 200 licences) respectively.
