You use Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV and have connected your ERP system to the document management solutions M-Files or Microsoft SharePoint using the DMS Connector to manage your files such as documents and emails digitally. We are pleased to provide you with the latest release notes from November 2024 for the DMS Connector.
Dropform integrated in other pages
The DMS Dropform has been integrated into the following pages:
Item Tracking Entries; Lot Number Information Card; Lot Number Information List; Posted Item Tracking Lines; Serial Number Information Card; Serial Number Information List; Item Tracking Lines*; Reservation Entries**; Stock Entries**; Item Ledger Entries**
* The drop form is linked to the table setup for serial numbers (ID 6504) or batch numbers (ID 6505). The drop shape is only displayed if the respective number in the row is filled. The table setup for serial numbers is prioritised if both numbers are filled.
** The drop form is displayed if there is a valid table setup for table 337, 7312 or 32, or for table 6504 or 6505. The descending link prioritisation is: Table 337/7312/32 -> Table 6504 -> Table 6505.
In addition, the following two features have been introduced in the DMS Connector for Microsoft SharePoint:
New app dependency
A new dependency - to our DMS Connector Core app - has been added to the DMS Connector. You can also find the app in AppSource. When updating the DMS Connector, the core app will be installed automatically if it has not already been installed.
New Dropform design
The design of the DMS Dropform has been changed. The following features, among others, have been implemented or expanded:
Menu bar, view settings, sorting settings, context menu, standard action for documents
