Replacement of bank statement formats MT940/942 and DTAZV

Banks have started to switch bank statements from the MT940 format to CAMT. CAMT stands for cash management and the resulting bank statement files are provided in an XML format. This format has been provided in OPplus for a long time, but over the years there have been many adaptations and further developments in this area because the banks do not work uniformly here.

For this reason it is important that users of the add-on work on current OPplus versions, as only here can it be guaranteed that any necessary hotfixes are possible. In the following view you can see which versions are currently available and thus you can also see for which versions we can provide hotfixes if necessary.

Older OPplus versions are not recommended, as there is no guarantee that hotfixes can be provided for older versions. Therefore, ideally only current OPplus versions should be in use. Please do not hesitate to contact us on this subject.

In the course of this, it is also important to point out that from November 2025, the MT940 and MT942 formats will no longer be supported and will therefore be completely discontinued. The same is also planned for DTAZV. This format will be replaced by ISO Payment, which is also part of the OPplus bundle (payment import and export).

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our experts.
