Updated icons in the context menu
The icons in the context menu have been modernized for a cleaner and more user-friendly appearance. The new design improves clarity and makes it easier to navigate and select actions.
New “Workspace” concept in Desktop and Web
The new Workspaces feature introduces an entirely new way to navigate and browse relationships in M-Files. Objects now act as entry points to their own workspace. Depending on the object type configuration, each workspace displays structured tabs with related information—making relationship management more intuitive.
More detailed property selection in Advanced Search & View creation
When using Advanced Search or creating Views, users can now select from a wider range of detailed properties. This allows for more precise search queries and better organization of information.
Object type filtering in Global Search
Global Search now supports filtering by object type, helping users narrow down results and locate specific items more efficiently—especially in environments with multiple vaults and large datasets.
Improved “Search Within the View” functionality
The “Search Within the View” feature has been repositioned closer to the view area, making it easier to access. Matching results are now highlighted (“hit highlighting”), allowing users to quickly identify relevant content. This enhancement is part of the new Workspaces experience.
