Server Side Synchronization: Dynamics 365 App for Outlook

Server Side Synchronization enables synchronization between Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Exchange (and other e-mail services) for e-mails, contacts, tasks, and appointments, enabling the use of the Outlook App for Dynamics 365.

With the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook you can increase the productivity of your users both on the desktop and in the Outlook Web App or smartphone:

• View information such as phone numbers, company names, last and next activities directly from Dynamics 365 Contacts and Leads in the context of an e-mail message, meeting or appointment while working with Outlook.
• With a single click, link email messages, meetings and appointments to a Dynamics 365 record, such as a specific company, opportunity or enquiry.
• Open Dynamics 365 records directly to find or enter more detailed information
• Add a call, task or appointment activity to Dynamics 365.
• Create a new Dynamics 365 record for any entity
• Add templates, info and sales documentation while creating an email message or scheduling a meeting.
• Synchronise your Dynamics 365 contacts with Outlook.
