If you are using a G DATA license from version 25.5.12, you are already up to date and do not need to read any further. But if you are using an older version, we strongly recommend that you update to the new program version.
Due to increased security requirements, it is imperative that you update your G DATA license. Although the older versions still offer protection, they may no longer be able to detect new viruses and malware, or only to a limited extent.
You can easily check if you are affected by this update. Check SecurityCenter for your version number. You can find SecurityCenter by double-clicking on the G DATA logo in your taskbar. If you see a version number lower left than 25.5.11, you should definitely perform the update. The current program version is 25.5.14.95 and is available to all users free of charge.
