Update: Microsoft Power BI Desktop - February 2020

The February update of the Microsoft Power BI Desktop business intelligence solution includes new features and improvements that address the needs and requests of the Power BI community.

A new and highly requested feature is called Incremental refresh. This feature enables comfortable work with very large data sets and offers the following advantages:

• Updates are faster. Only data that has changed needs to be refreshed. For example, update only the last five days of a ten-year dataset.
• Refreshes are more reliable. It is no longer necessary to maintain long-running connections to volatile source systems.
• Resource consumption is reduced. Less data to refresh reduces the overall consumption of memory and other resources.

The ribbon has also been further improved. In addition to visual updates and a further adaptation to the office look, the buttons for saving, undoing and restoring have been added and are now located on the left side of the title bar. The login function is located on the right side.

Newly added are shortcut keys. To activate them, press Alt + Windows key. The following shortcuts then allow you to use the keyboard.
