The February update of the Microsoft Power BI Desktop business intelligence solution includes new features and improvements that address the needs and requests of the Power BI community.
A new and highly requested feature is called Incremental refresh. This feature enables comfortable work with very large data sets and offers the following advantages:
The ribbon has also been further improved. In addition to visual updates and a further adaptation to the office look, the buttons for saving, undoing and restoring have been added and are now located on the left side of the title bar. The login function is located on the right side.
Newly added are shortcut keys. To activate them, press Alt + Windows key. The following shortcuts then allow you to use the keyboard.
The title bar, ribbon and file menu are now more accessible. Use Ctrl + F6 to navigate to the ribbon section. Once you are in the Ribbon, you can use the Tab key to move between the top and bottom bars and the arrow keys to move between items.
