As an M-Files partner, we’re excited to introduce two practical innovations for document management with M-Files: the new co-authoring feature that allows multiple users to work on a document simultaneously – directly in Microsoft 365 or within Microsoft Teams.
In our two latest videos, we show you how easy and effective collaboration with M-Files has become:
Co-Authoring in the Desktop Client
Edit documents together with your colleagues without manually starting a session. You can see in real time who is making changes. Thanks to the automatic co-authoring mode, sending versions back and forth is a thing of the past.
Co-Authoring Directly in Microsoft Teams
Collaborate on shared documents with internal or external team members directly from Microsoft Teams. Through the M-Files tab in your team, you have access to all shared content – live and collaborative.

With these new features, M-Files takes another step toward modern, seamlessly integrated document management. Note: M-Files Desktop Co-Authoring requires the M-Files Business Edition and Microsoft 365.
