Fast and adaptable logistics processes are crucial for business success. This requires efficient work in the warehouse with robust tools. There is a lot of potential in the picking area to optimize warehouse turnaround time. Mobile hand-held scanners are the first step in the right direction. The devices are a combination of barcode scanner, keyboard and display and replace paper documents, simple and safe to use. Employees are relieved, processes accelerated and sources of error eliminated.
Pick instructions are transmitted directly from the ERP solution via radio or WLAN to the picker headsets via the direct connection of Pick-by-Voice devices to e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The transmission of picking instructions by voice leads to a sustainable optimization of workflows and faster picking processes.
With the Online-MDE module, mobile hand-held scanners can be directly connected to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central enterprise solution - for optimized and largely automatically controlled goods processes such as article information, storage, stock transfer, picking or inventory. Data such as quantities at goods receipt are transferred directly to Business Central after the scanning process.
