The familiar search feature in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central shows related information to a transaction such as a posted invoice, such as G/L items, VAT items, customer items or similar.
This function has long existed on pages with posted documents and line items. What is new is that the function is now available in all role centres. Across systems, the function can be called up in Business Central via the key combination "Ctrl+Alt+Q".
From now on, it can be very helpful when searching for vouchers to show the corresponding items:
This can be done by searching for receipts, for business contacts and contact-related receipts, and for item references using serial or batch numbers.
