On 12.01.2024, the TSO-DATA Group once again held its annual end-of-year seminar, which we welcomed around 60 participants to on site in Osnabrück and in parallel via livestream using Microsoft Teams.
In three exciting lecture blocks, we provided information on the legislative changes in the wage and salary area, in the social security area and on the innovations in the wage, salary and personnel solutions NAPA3.
For our format, we were once again able to win over Heinz-Willi Schaffhausen, who, after a brief introduction by Thomas Hagedorn, Sales Manager TSO-DATA, presented the important changes affecting companies at the turn of the year in his entertaining manner.
In addition to the current changes to the law for employers and employees, changes due to the new wage tax information 2024 and special features of the wage tax calculation as of 01.01.2024 (also in relation to the Germany ticket) were highlighted. The latest news on company cars, electric vehicles and e-bikes was also discussed in detail.
The following joint breakfast break provided an opportunity for personal discussions between the participants. Heinz-Willi Schaffhausen then presented the latest news on (tax-free) wages/inflation compensation premiums. He also gave the participants a comprehensive overview of current case law and various administrative directives in the area of wage tax.
Michael Brauwers' presentation then dealt with topics such as the Care Support and Relief Act and how to open an employer account with the health insurance funds. In addition, Michael Brauwers provided the participants of our year-end seminar with information on the mandatory retrieval of insurance numbers, reporting parental leave, eAU (current status and new features) and the new social insurance reporting portal.
After a short break, Christina Bankes, Verana Thumann from TSO-DATA and Thilo Schulz from CTM Systemhaus presented the new functions in NAPA3, the payroll add-on for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system.
Thanks to the hybrid format of our seminar, it was once again possible this year for participants to exchange ideas in person and obtain compact information, scrutinize topics in order to successfully implement the innovations in their own issues and challenges.
