With the active support of TSO-DATA and many other sponsors, runners will once again have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills for a good cause. The now ninth Zoo Charity Run on June 24 will support various children's projects.
"Even though this is the ninth time we are raising funds for children with the Zoo Charity Run, the interest of runners continues unabated - I hope we can welcome over 700 participants again this year," says a delighted John McGurk, the charity runner. As in previous years, runners will have the opportunity to take part in different races depending on their ambitions: The Fun Run covers a 3-kilometer course through the zoo, Nordic Walkers cover 6 kilometers, and in the Time Run, participants tackle a 10-kilometer course in and around the zoo. Katharina Pötter, patron and mayor of the zoo, will give the starting signal. The Zoo Charity Run begins on June 24, 2023 at 6 p.m. with the Bambini Run, in which children up to 10 years of age run 800 meters through the Takamanda African Animal World.
"Sponsoring the Zoolauf and at the same time supporting the social projects associated with it is once again a matter close to our hearts this year - we are very pleased that as an IT partner of the zoo we can also make a social contribution here," says Timm Reichl, Marketing Specialist at TSO-DATA, describing the commitment of the Osnabrück IT specialists.
"We are very happy about this support, because it means that as much net profit as possible remains for the children's projects "Athletes 4 a children's world" as well as "Learning German at the Zoo", says Jennifer Ludwig, Event Manager at Osnabrück Zoo.
