The net proceeds of the 8th Zoo Run go to the children's aid projects of "Sportler 4 a childrens world" (s4acw) and the language support project for primary school pupils "Deutsch lernen im Zoo" (Learning German at the Zoo). s4acw helps children in crisis situations, its members campaign for children's rights and set an example against racism. Projects with which TSO-DATA can also identify.

The social commitment is also reflected in the support of the "Ambulant Children's Hospice Service" and the "Haus am Schlehenbusch'".
